Celebrities Mix and Mingle in Metro Detroit at the Inaugural Ilitch Charities Celebrity Golf Classic

August 24 and 25, 2008, media are invited to meet local and national sports, media and entertainment stars, all in support of two important local charities. Ilitch Charities, with the Detroit Tigers Foundation and the Detroit Red Wings Foundation, is hosting the inaugural Celebrity Golf Classic and Summer Soiree preview party to benefit The Greening of Detroit's Leadership Corps and the Guidance Center's Project CEO. Both programs fit Ilitch Charities' mission to support innovative, measurable programs that make a positive, long-term impact in our community. Each will receive up to a $100,000 grant from funds raised at the events.
