Joe Lindenmayer is a military veteran, business owner, and respected voice in franchising who has lead and grown two national franchises, TSS Photography Inc., a franchise specializing in youth sports, school and event photography; and Young Masters, the first U.S. franchise to transform youth artwork into an exclusive product line.
Joe's entrepreneurial roots stem from operating a family-owned landscaping business in upstate New York for more than 10 years. He spent six years in the Marine Corps, where he earned meritorious promotions and a commendation during Operation Desert Storm. Using the leadership and management skills he gained in the military and team sports throughout college, he found tremendous success in Atlanta in 1993 when he joined TSS, then known as The Sports Section.
Starting out as a field sales representative with TSS, Joe opened new franchises and traveled extensively, launching master franchises in several countries, including New Zealand, Australia and Canada. He researched development opportunities extensively in other areas of the world and quickly ascended to vice president of the company. Since becoming president of TSS, Joe expanded operations into the school photography market and launched a new, more efficient and dynamic IT platform for the franchise network.
In the fall of 2008, Joe led the development of the company's second franchise brand, Young Masters, to tap into the children's art industry.
Joe is a member of the Atlanta Franchise Alliance and the Southeast Franchise Forum. He lives in the Atlanta area with his wife Kristen and 2-year-old daughter Riley. Joe welcomes your questions about building your franchise and can be reached at joe@tssphotography.com .
