Justin Kitch
Justin Kitch is Intuit 's chief growth officer, responsible for leading the Web and marketing efforts for the company's Small Business Group. Named to the newly created position in March 2009, Kitch oversees the organization's Web strategy, marketing campaigns and growth initiatives.
Before joining Intuit, Kitch founded two successful businesses. In 1997, he launched Homestead Technologies, a company created to help small businesses succeed on the Web. He served as the company's CEO until it was acquired by Intuit in 2007, and subsequently was named general manager of Intuit's Homestead and Small Business Web divisions.
Previously, he started KartoffelSoft Inc., an educational software company that created FUNdaMENTAL, a programming language for children that he wrote in college. The software teaches basic problem-solving and critical thinking skills to elementary and middle school students in more than 50 countries.
Kitch holds a bachelor's degree in science, technology and society from Stanford University. He serves on the board of directors of Virtual Village Inc. and of the Riekes Center for Human Enhancement. He is also closely involved with several other philanthropic organizations in the Bay Area.Â
