Brad Feld is co-founder of Foundry Group, a Boulder, Colo., venture-capital firm specializing in early-stage information-technology companies, and TechStars, a startup accelerator. He has been an early stage investor and entrepreneur since 1987. He is also founder of Intensity Ventures, a company that helped launch and operate software companies. He's the author of Startup Communities: Building an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in Your City (Wiley, 2012).
