If the nine "hybrid" badges on this thing fail to make it clear that this is different from a regular Yukon, just a few seconds behind the wheel should give things away for sure. The faint electronic whine will have you looking in the mirrors for a police car or ambulance a couple of times, and the brakes have a spongy, regenerative/hybrid feel to them.

Having said all that, the basic driving experience is much the same as that of a gasoline-only Yukon. Despite all the electronic whines, once under way, the Yukon Hybrid actually seems quieter on the highway. Around town, the engine shuts off quite a bit as it moves along in electric-only mode. Coast downhill under 30 mph, and the engine shuts off, too. The entire system is pretty seamless--you occasionally hear, or feel, the engine start up, but that's about it. And there's plenty of oomph for two-lane passing or on-ramp merging.
