Do you know of an impressive small to mid-sized business that deserves recognition? Then why not nominate them to become the Top Small Workplace of 2007? The Wall Street Journal has teamed up with Winning Workplaces, a nonprofit based in Chicago, to acknowledge and reward the hard work of top-notch businesses. The program is looking for small employers who encourage teamwork, flexibility and high productivity.
The nomination process is open to companies meeting the following criteria: The company must be based in North America, be independent, have no more than $200 million in annual revenues, have 500 or fewer employees. and have been in business for at least five years.
Finalists will be selected this spring, and the winner will be announced on October 1, 2007 in a Journal report on small business. There will also be a conference and celebration in Chicago this fall to honor those named.
