Most employees think it, but rarely do you hear CEOs state it. According to this
USA Today
blog post, U.S. business leaders say they're overpaid. The National Association of Corporate Directors polled about 70 CEOs and company presidents this summer and found that almost 66 percent believe their pay isn't relative to their performance. About one-third said they felt their compensation is "just right," while 2.2 percent reported being underpaid. Not surprisingly, more than 80 percent of outside directors agreed that CEOs are definitely overpaid.
