Founded in 1998, Handyman Matters has become the top franchisor in the home repair & improvement industry. We accomplished this by filling the niche of providing small services and consistently earning the trust of our customers. In building a base of happy, satisfied clients and selling bigger projects to them, Handyman Matters has developed a high repeat business. Additionally, we have established a commercial base of 900-plus relationships with large companies such as Starbucks and BestBuy. Our goal is to change the face of this industry to a more positive one, marketing safety and reliability as our #1 goal.
Handyman Matters currently has 121 franchise units in 28 states. We offer protected territories with a minimum count of 62,500 households and have a scalable business model that allows for small to extremely large businesses. We were recently recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as The Top 2013 Handyman Franchise.
Handyman Matters has taken the traditional handyman business and created a tech-savvy handyman service offering one-stop shopping for both consumers and businesses. We’ve created innovative systems, operations and new technology, including proprietary software that manages estimating, scheduling, marketing, dispatching and other areas to create a “retailing of services” concept that combines a highly structured business management model with the hands-on talent of craftsmen.
Handyman Matters provides extensive initial coaching that consists of both online and in-office sessions with an existing franchisee, business training at our corporate facility, and a follow-up onsite visit at your location after the first 90 days of operation. Our first year marketing plan helps new owners get up and running quickly.
“I have experienced growth for the last 8 years, because we provide a service that our community really needs.”
