In July 2012, Smoothie King ownership transitioned to SK USA, Inc., headed by Wan Kim, a successful franchisee with more than 100 stores throughout South Korea, and now Smoothie King has expanded into, Singapore and the Cayman Islands. Kim has reorganized Smoothie King’s leadership and assembled an internal “think tank” of industry professionals with the business acumen, track record and motivation that are challenging every aspect of the business to boost performance and profitability.
Our new company culture has transcended to corporate staff, field support, and franchisees, to result in improved performance and we’re just getting started.

WE’VE EVOLVED OUR BRAND AND STORE DESIGN

In July 2013, our new brand was unveiled at our annul franchise conference signifying a new era for Smoothie King. It took a lot of time, effort and focus groups to develop something that truly represents our mission “Inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyles”. Our new store design is modern, unique, and creates a very powerful customer experience. In addition to aesthetics, the new design allows for easy customer access to retail and maximizes customer flow.
One of the most powerful applications of our rebranding is in our customer communications, marketing, advertising and online assets. We’ve created a fresh approach to our creative that has already made a huge difference in our ability to drive new customers and build loyalty.

  

SMOOTHIE KING CENTER GAINS INCREDIBLE NEWS COVERAGE

In February 2014, the New Orleans Arena, home of NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans, was renamed Smoothie King Center. Smoothie King takes great pride in representing our home team and is honored to be associated with the NBA. More importantly, Smoothie King will gain national and international exposure in television, radio, print and online news that will support our brand positioning and provide top-of-mind awareness that will drive customer frequency.
