School Says - General InformationThe Tulane School of Social Work is the oldest accredited school of social work in the south, and among the five oldest in the United States. True to its motto, "Tradition and Innovation," the School captures the best of traditional practice and research and moves to a cutting edge clinical-community curriculum to meet the demands of the 21st Century. Tulane offers the Master of Social Work degree on both a full (16 months) and part-time (32 months) basis. Paramount in the life of the School for the next few years will be working to rebuild the city of New Orleans, shape a culture of caring, and providing an unprecedented post-disaster learning experience for students.
