At the Neeley School, we bring together highly motivated professionals and exceptional faculty in a personalized, interactive environment. Neeley is one of an elite group of accredited business schools to offer a 12-Month Accelerated MBA degree along with the two-year Full-Time MBA. Learning here goes beyond the classroom, to hands-on experiences that impact the bottom line. Our students stay on top of the quickly changing business environment through frequent and meaningful interaction with business leaders. Our commitment to you is an experience that is personal, connected, and real.
The Programs
At Neeley, we make sure that our MBA isnÃ't a Ã"one-size-fits-allÃ" program. We understand that students have different backgrounds and career goals, and have crafted options to best meet your needs.
- The 12-Month Accelerated MBA is targeted to individuals with significant academic and professional background in business who are looking to move forward within their career field. This option allows you to build upon your business background and focus your coursework on your specific career interest. The Accelerated MBA provides the benefits of a full-time MBA without an extended absence from the job market and with less impact on your financial, career and personal life.
- If you are planning to make a broader career change, the comprehensive two-year Full-Time MBA programs allows you to explore career options and add new experiences to your resume. Whether your degree is in business, engineering or ballet, the Full-Time MBA gives you the academic background, practical experience, professionals development, career coaching and networking opportunities you need to position yourself for your next career move.
What you learn.
A Neeley MBA taps into your existing strengths and shores up your shortcomings to create an extraordinary skill set. Not a cookie-cutter skill set, but a dynamic package of hard and soft skills, analytical and intangible assets that represent the best of you. You learn how to make insightful decisions in a world of perpetual change, and how to communicate, collaborate, and lead diverse groups to turn those decisions into action.
How you learn.
Not only do you work day-to-day with faculty who are recognized leaders in their fields, you put that knowledge to work outside the classroom. We call it Experiential Learning, and itÃ's based on real-world experiences that recruiters tell us they look for when filling top positions. You do real work for real clients with real life challenges. Combine all of that with high profile internships, interaction with leading executives and international business trips. ItÃ's only natural to think outside the box when you donÃ't spend all your time inside of one.
Personal
WeÃ're small by design at Neeley, so the lessons you learn here will reach much farther than the glow of a PowerPoint presentation in a two hundred-seat lecture hall. Not only will you know your professors Ãâ" youÃ'll also come to know that these are the very people improving and transforming business in the real world. The same holds true for the hundreds of business executives who visit here. You can discuss ideas in actual conversations with c-level executives Ãâ" not just sit in the same room with them.
Connected
Neeley is right at home in the thriving Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Literally hundreds of big name businesses are located here, and more are coming every day. But we donÃ't stop there. With international trips (Chile, Italy, Germany, China, and India are some of the places we visit), you gain insight into just how the business world is intricately connected. You learn to spot new opportunities in unexpected places, and to value new insights and old customs.

Students Say - Academics
Just five miles from downtown Fort Worth, the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University maintains "great connections" in the area, bringing in "the best faculty, who are well-published and have been in their industries or departments for a long time." Real-world applications are definitely emphasized here, and "The professors have lot of industry experience and this makes the teaching very effective." Of particular note, the school operates the "the best supply chain program in Texas," as well as a reputable program in finance. At TCU, the MBA workload is substantial. Students warn, "The first two semesters can be completely exhausting"â"but you'll get plenty of support, too. Despite TCU's big city opportunities, intimacy is what sets this MBA program apart. At TCU, "Faculty bends over backwards to maximize our experiences" and they "genuinely care about the success of the students." Astudent praises, "TCU's faculty has an open-door policy that, for the first time in my educational and occupational history, actually exists. I have never had any trouble or delay in receiving an answer to a question or feedback to an idea." In addition to their relationship with the faculty, the small class sizes also allow students "to get to know each of my classmates on a personal level, providing more fulfilling networking opportunities in the future." On that note, TCU's curriculum is specifically designed to "develop more soft skills," in addition to honing quantitative ability. "First-years complete almost all assignments in the first semester in teams," which is both a challenge and a benefit; "Learning how to work in the team environment has been a challenge in of itself but also very rewarding"â" not to mention, "great practice for the workplace." Students also prepare for the workplace through TCU's myriad experiential learning programs, such as the sales and marketing case competition, business simulations, and through the unique "Neeley and Associates, a class offered where students act as consultants to help real businesses solve real problems." To encourage participation in co-curricular activities, the university even offers "scholarships for international trips and MBA conferences." The MBA program at TCU is dynamic, committed to improvement, and responsive to student opinion. With an eye to the future, "The administration really cares about the students and makes quite an effort to hear what our concerns are and is always looking for feedback from events, speakers, and classes." Equally impressive, "The administration is very interested in obtaining and acting on feedback from employers." Recently, for example, "Employers had provided feedback that past interns did not have as much financial modeling skill as they would like, so the administration addressed this by implementing financial modeling courses."

Academics are challenging at TCU, and "There are always deadlines, projects, cases, homework and readings due." Therefore, "Time management is one of the most important skills to have" as a TCU student. Fortunately, the school offers the pleasant atmosphere and modern facilities that busy business students need to succeed. The recently constructed Smith Hall offers "an abundance of study rooms with white boards for MBA students," as well as "an MBA lounge with printer, couches, and lockers for each student." TCU students are united by a "strong community and conservative values," and students say, "The Neeley School does an outstanding job of recruiting down-to-earth people that would rather help one another succeed than aggressively compete against each other." The community is open and inclusive, and "There are weekly social events for MBA students and their significant others or friends." In fact, for students with families, "Spouses are invited to all social gatherings, and they were invited on a study abroad class over winter break." With so many activities to juggle, it's no surprise that, "by the weekend everyone is fairly exhausted from school," yet students "try to get together for the football game or a class party or something." To blow off steam, others "play intramural sports and take workout classes at the rec center."
Students Say - Careers
At TCU, "Career services is outstanding," providing students with individualized career coaching, a variety of interview preparation strategies, networking events like employer roundtables, numerous career development seminars, and special programsâ"including a trip to Wall Street in New York City. In recent years, top employers include Accenture, American Airlines, Bank of America, Countrywide Financial, Dell Computer, DHL, Honeywell, Goldman Sachs, Lockheed Martin, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, Nestle Purina, Nokia, Texas Instruments, Toyota, Verizon, and Wachovia Corporation.
