School Says - Admissions
The Admissions team reviews the strength of an applicant's academic record, national test scores, breadth of academic preparation, and letters of recommendation. Applicants to the freshman class are considered if a student's high school grade point average in academic courses is 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale, the combined SAT score is within 100 points of the national average or better, and the student's academic preparation, recommendations, and character indicate that he or she is qualified to undertake Marymount programs. It is recommended that students have at least 4 years of English; 3 years of a foreign language, mathematics, and the social sciences; and 2 years of science. A campus interview is not required but is strongly recommended. It gives students a chance to see if Marymount would be a good fit. The University holds Campus Visit Days in the fall and spring. Visitors are welcome at any time, and appointments with Admissions staff may be made in advance.
