School Says - Academics
Grantham University offers a variety of degree programs through three colleges: The Mark Skousen School of Business, The College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
Students must complete a minimum of 62 credit hours for an associate degree, of which 25% of the credit hours must be completed with Grantham. The Bachelor's programs require a minimum of 122 credit hours, of which 25% of the credit hours must be completed with Grantham. The Master's degree programs require 36 credit hours, of which 27 credit hours must be completed with Grantham.
Course content is delivered via the Grantham student learning environment, Angel. All undergraduate degree-seeking students are required to successfully complete GU100 Ãâ" Student Success (one-credit hour course) in conjunction with their first academic course. GU100 is designed to help you become familiar with Grantham, our policies and procedures; provide an introduction to online learning; and introduce student success strategies, such as study skills, note taking strategies, memory devices, and more.
Students are given 8 weeks to complete each course; however, you may accelerate course completion based on study habits and time devoted to the material.
Grantham University makes every effort to apply college credit for military training and previous coursework whenever possible. CLEP tests, DSST exams, AP and DANTES, along with military and work-related training courses, may be eligible for transfer credit.

Once a student has shown an interest in Grantham, he/she will be required to submit the Admissions Application Transfer Credit Evaluation form, along with other necessary documents requested by the Admissions team. Upon receipt, the University will commence the process of review and assessment.
Grantham accepts applications on a continuous basis throughout the year. A student has the option of enrolling as a degree candidate or on a course-by-course basis (non-degree). Students interested in applying can visit: http://www.grantham.edu/gu-admissions/apply-now to download an application.
Applicants with high school or previous education in a foreign country, who do not reside in an English-speaking country (e.g., the United States, Canada, England, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand), must demonstrate English language proficiency. Official documentation must be submitted with the admission file and admission granted before the applicant may begin the program.
