In order to create a robust network where the small-business community can openly interact, we need to first lay down some ground rules.
Do NOT post the same thread across multiple discussion groups
- Members view posts like this as irritating spam which interferes with the real discussion.
Suggest new discussion groups
- If there’s a discussion topic that isn’t covered in our existing groups, let us know. We will review your request and let the Entrepreneur Connect members vote on whether the group should be established. Just click on the “Groups” tab and then select “Suggest a Group.”
What makes a good discussion group?
- A topic of broad interest that many entrepreneurs can relate to.
- A burning issue that keeps you up at night.
- A current challenge your business is facing.
- A call for advice from the small-business community.
Create a complete and interesting member profile
Your Entrepreneur Connect profile is your identity on the site, it’s important to make it as comprehensive as possible. Make sure to upload a photo, too—members are more likely to trust someone who puts a face with his or her name.
Double check your spelling and grammar
- Before posting your comments, double check that everything is spelled correctly. Remember, your participation on Entrepreneur Connect is a direct reflection of your business—so even the details count.
Give us your input!
- Do you know how to make Entrepreneur Connect a better place to network? You have the power to make changes around here, so please let us know your thoughts by clicking on the Feedback Forum tab above.
