He founded the John Casablancas Modeling and Career Centers in 1979 and began franchising the same year. With centers around the world, the schools teach professional modeling, personal image development, TV commercial acting, runway techniques, makeup artistry, skin and hair care, exercise and nutrition. The parent company is Model Merchandising Int'l.
