Dynamics Research Corp. reports it has landed a $25.5 million contract from the state of Tennessee to develop an automated child welfare information system.

The deal calls for Dynamics Research (Nasdaq: DRCO) to develop a statewide web-based child welfare system that supports child welfare cases from intake to closure. The Andover company will begin work on the project this year, and expects to complete it by 2010.

In May 2004, Dynamics Research was awarded a $30 million contract by the state of Ohio to develop and implement a web-based automated child welfare information system. That system went statewide last year after a limited pilot.
