A Chicago Bridge & Iron subsidiary has secured a $150 million contract from Terasen Gas (Vancouver Island) Inc.

Horton CBI will work on a liquefied natural gas project on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

The facility will be owned and operated by Terasen Gas, a subsidiary of Canada-based Terasen Inc., and will be used to provide seasonal natural gas power to residents on the island and mainland areas of British Columbia.

Horton CBI, a subsidiary of Woodlands-based CB&I (NYSE: CBI), will supply engineering, procurement and construction services for a 434,000 barrel LNG storage tank, liquefaction and regasification systems and all related plant structures and systems.
