A month after the head of the Hawaii office of Marsh Management Services moved over to a competitor, insurance broker Aon Risk Services of Hawaii, Aon has hired four more executives away from Marsh.

Marcus Kim, Janet Ng, Jeff Case and Frank Wirt will join former Marsh director Chad Karasaki at Aon, the company announced Thursday.

As senior vice president, Kim will focus on health care systems, long term care, physician groups and large property portfolios. He was at Marsh for 13 years, where he was the senior vice president of its healthcare and property practices.

Ng returns to Aon Corp. (NYSE: AOC) as a senior vice president after nearly four years at Marsh. She previously was a senior vice president at Marsh, where she led its Hawaii construction practice.

Case, who also returns to Aon as a senior vice president, worked at Marsh four years under the same title. He will handle property, casualty and executive liability risks for Aon's clients.

Wirt also returns to Aon as vice president focusing on surety issues related to its contractor and developer clients. He also was a vice president at Marsh.

The appointments come one month after Chad Karasaki left Marsh after 22 years to become the new chief executive officer of Aon's Hawaii operation. His first day was March 12.

Parent company Marsh & McLennan Cos. has filed a lawsuit against Karasaki in U.S. District Court in Honolulu alleging that he took clients with him and violated his employment contract when he moved to Aon.

Karasaki, who did not immediately respond to a phone message left by PBN, worked for Marsh for 22 years.
