'Forbes' report: Dodgers, Angels among most valuable MLB teams

Los Angeles' Major League Baseball teams are among the most valuable of the league's 30 clubs, according to the annual "Business of Baseball" report from "Forbes" magazine.
The Los Angeles Dodgers, owned by Frank McCourt, are ranked 4th on the list, with a value of $694 million, up 10 percent from a year ago. According to the report, the team brought in $224 million in revenue. The team's average ticket price is $26.
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, owned by Artie Moreno, came in 6th on the list, with a value of $500 million, up 16 percent from a year ago. The team had $200 million in revenue last year, and has an average ticket price of $19.

The New York Yankees are the most valuable franchise, with a value of $1.3 billion, and the Florida Marlins are ranked at the bottom, with a value of $256 million.
