Intel Corp. expects to take a $250 million charge in the second quarter, the company said Friday in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Santa Clara-based Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) said the charge is related to restructuring and asset impairment.

Intel recorded $329 million of similar charges in the first quarter.
