Pittsburgh Parking Authority, workers reach deal

The Pittsburgh Parking Authority said Friday it has reached a three-year deal with the union representing parking garage attendants.

In a statement, David Onorato, executive director of the parking authority, said members of Teamsters Local 926, Automotive Chauffeurs, Parts and Garage Employees, ratified the deal on April 26. The parking authority board approved the deal Thursday.

The contract was to expire July 31.

The agreement, which takes effect June 1, calls for raises in each of the three years.
