NGenera Corp. made its sixth purchase in a year with the acquisition of another software company.

The Austin company, led by entrepreneur Steve Papermaster, bought Bellevue, Wash.-based Talisma Corp. for an undisclosed amount. The 270-employee company provides customer interaction features, such as online chats and calls for clients.

NGenera raised more than $70 million since its inception in 2007 and employs more than 500 people.

Papermaster is piecing together a one-stop shop for corporations that provides executive training, software services and other products.

Steve Douty, president of platform applications and marketing, says nGenera is creating "unique and creative combinations" of companies into software services. The latest purchase brings annual revenues estimates to $100 million, he says.

"We're wrapping the software we bring to market with all these other expertise as well," Douty says.
