LCRA's Mandell forms new government relations group

Missy Mandell, the former federal affairs manager for the Lower Colorado River Authority, has formed a new government relations and political outreach firm.

Mandell & Associates will focus on representing client interests in federal legislative and regulatory matters and with local and state officials. The firm will also offer strategic planning on policy development, building alliances and partnerships, community and customer relations and communications.

Mandell has more than 30 years of political and governmental affairs experience, having managed a number of complex and contentious public policy issues in areas such as energy, air quality, water quality and telecommunications.

Prior to her work with the LCRA, Mandell owned and managed a cable and satellite television company and a public relations company.
