Sacramento Red Cross names interim CEO

The Sacramento Sierra Chapter of the American Red Cross named Cindy Jackson interim chief executive officer last week.

Jackson will replace Julie Van Dooren, who had been with the Sacramento Sierra chapter for more than four years.

Jackson has been with the Red Cross for 15 years, most recently as director of operations support for the Pacific service area, which includes 14 Red Cross chapters in California, Hawaii and the Pacific Islands.
