Calgon Carbon Corp. and the United Steelworkers Union could end their four month-long labor dispute Monday with a union vote on a new three-year contract.
Union representatives and Calgon management reached a tentative agreement late Friday, said Jerry Morton, unit president of the local for Calgon. The company's headquarters are in Robinson, west of Pittsburgh.
About 60 members of USW Local 5032 are scheduled to vote on the accord Monday night at the American Legion Hall in McKees Rocks.

Health care benefits and pensions were two of the sticking points in the new contract, Morton said. Morton could not disclose the contract's details, he said.
The two sides had met at least 10 times between the March 1 lockout and last week in an attempt to hash out terms of the new contract, he said.
"No one won this," Morton said. "This wasn't about winning or losing."
Calgon spokeswoman Gail Gerono declined to discuss the negotiations Monday. "Our position throughout this period has been not to negotiate in the press," Gerono said. "We are mantaining that position. We are hopeful that we will reach a collective barganing agreement with the United Steelworkers."
Calgon (NYSE:CCC) makes activated carbon used in air and water purification systems.
The 60 union members have been locked out of Calgon's Neville Island plant, which is north of Pittsburgh, since March 1.
