Brooke Capital Corp. will close its Overland Park office at 10950 Grandview and consolidate it with its other Overland Park office at 8500 College Blvd.

Brooke Capital (AMEX: BCP) is an insurance provider and loan consultant for insurance agencies. Its majority owner is Overland Park-based Brooke Corp. (Nasdaq: BXXX).

Brooke Capital spokeswoman Karen Haus said Monday that 38 employees will move to the 8500 College Blvd. office by the end of August.

The company said in a release that it expects to post a third-quarter profit.

Brooke Capital said May 28that it would halt all commission advances as of Aug. 15 and shut down operating service centers that offered shared office personnel and expenses for franchisees.
