Direct Connect lays off 25

Direct Connect Solutions on Tuesday is permanently laying off 25 employees, according to documents filed with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development.

The 24-year-old Nashville printing and mailing company has about 50 employees in two locations, on Charlotte Avenue and Brick Church Park Drive.

Officials with the company were not available for comment Monday afternoon.
