Dayton-area businessman named exec for NFL team

A former Dayton-area commercial real estate agent has been hired as an executive for an NFL team.

Digger Daley, formerly second vice president with the Dayton office of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, is now the director of football administration for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Crystal Kirkland, marketing manager for Colliers in Dayton, said Daley???s last day was in the first week of May. The company has not held discussions yet about replacing him.

???We???re all really happy for him,??? Kirkland said.

Daley was a part of Colliers industrial property team, working on deals such as Triad Technologies LLC???s relocation to Northwoods Business Park. Daley worked exclusively with Mark Dlott, vice president and principal for Colliers, who will continue to work on all listings they shared.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished last season 9-7 and third in the NFC South division. The team has been playing in the NFL since 1976 and won Super Bowl XXXVII in January 2003.
