With much regret I announce Professor Ron Dulek's departure as
JBC associate editor. Ron served JBC with great distinction for over two
years. Ron provided invaluable assistance to me when he and the other
associate editors helped construct JBC's review protocols. In
addition, his synthesis of reviewers' commentary, insightful
critique of manuscripts, and well reasoned recommendations helped
establish the high standards and favorable reputation that JBC presently
enjoys. Ron managed to do all this and more with a delightful sense of
wit and humor. Working with Ron has been a privilege, and I will miss
him. On the brighter side, Ron is moving on to assume challenges worthy
of his many talents. I know that all of us associated with JBC and ABC
wish Ron well.
From time to time JBC calls upon the expertise of scholars who are
not members of the editorial review board to read submitted manuscripts.
I gratefully thank these dedicated ad hoc reviewers for volunteering
their time and expertise on behalf of JBC. The scholars not on the
