In September, the HRPS Board of Directors voted unanimously to
select Bob Myers as Chairperson-Elect to work with our current Board
Chairperson, Peter Karp, for the last year of his term. When
Peter's term concludes in 2004, the Chairperson-Elect would succeed
Peter as Chairperson, if confirmed by the vote of the full membership of
the Society.
Bob has a long history of service to HRPS: He served on the Board
and Executive Committee and as Co-Chair of the Corporate Sponsors
Steering Committee, and has been involved with several conferences over
the years, including serving as Co-Chair of the 2000 Conferences in New
York. Bob has played a key role in the development of a revitalized HRPS
strategy.
Bob is currently SVP and Chief HR Officer for Reebok International.
