READERS DIGEST SIGNS LONG-TERM MAINFRAME OUTSOURCE PACT.

Mainframe Computing • April 1, 2004 •

Infocrossing, Inc. (NASDAQ:IFOX), Leonia, N.J., a provider of strategic IT and business process outsourcing solutions to large and mid-sized companies, has disclosed that The Reader's Digest Association, Inc. signed a long-term agreement to outsource mainframe operations to Infocrossing. The award was previously announced in January as a contract with an undisclosed global media conglomerate. Under the terms of the agreement, Infocrossing has already assumed the management of Reader's Digest's mainframe data center operations, and is planning for a June 2004 migration of the mainframe computing infrastructure to Infocrossing's data center.

Headquartered in Pleasantville, New York, Reader's Digest is a global publisher and direct marketer of products that inform, enrich, entertain and inspire people of all ages and all cultures around the world. The company's flagship publication, Reader's Digest, is the world's most widely read magazine, reaching nearly 100 million readers worldwide each month. Many of the company's publishing and database marketing applications are hosted on the mainframe environment.

"While the mainframe effectively supports some of our core business areas, we were looking for a more flexible process than our internal operations could provide," stated Jeff Spar, SVP & chief information officer of The Readers Digest Association. "Infocrossing reviewed our requirements, and proposed a tailored solution that met our business needs and technology objectives," Spar continued.

Readers Digest adds to a growing portfolio of companies that have outsourced to Infocrossing as part of a broader business transformation strategy. With twenty years experience as a provider of outsourcing services, Infocrossing has developed a thorough process for analyzing each clients' financial, technology and business objectives, and demonstrating how outsourcing can be leveraged to achieve the clients' strategic goals.

"Infocrossing was an excellent choice for Reader's Digest," Spar added. "The collaborative outsourcing evaluation process gave us the confidence that Infocrossing understood our objectives, and that they had the capability to deliver the results," Spar concluded.
