EMBRAER, a Brazilian aircraft manufacturer, signed an agreement with Canadian airline Air Canada to deliver 45 airplanes with the option to purchase 45 additional units. The deal has been valued at US$1.35 billion but could increase to $2.7 billion if Air Canada exercises its purchase option.
