AIG'S 2003 NET INCOME INCREASES 68 PERCENT, TO $9.27 BILLION.
The American International Group reported Feb. 11 its net income in 2003 rose to $9.27 billion, an increase of 68 percent over its net income for 2002. For the fourth quarter, the insurer reported net income rose to a record $2.71 billion, compared to a loss of $103.8 million for the same period in 2002.
