FLORIDA REFERS MOST FRAUD INSURANCE CASES FOR PROSECUTION.
The Coalition Against Insurance Fraud has found Florida referred more insurance fraud cases for prosecution in 2002 than any other state. It said Florida referred 771 cases for prosecution. California was second, referring 687 for prosecution. The coalition found Florida also led the nation in the number of convictions obtained in the cases referred for prosecution, with 456 in 2002.
