A Brazilian judge ordered the arrest of two Petrobras executives in March claiming that they failed to comply with a court ruling in favor of start-up oil firm Maritima Petroleo e Engenharia, which built drilling rigs for the state-owned oil company. According to the ruling, Petrobras had to suspend its practice of licensing contractors through an invitation to present offers for projects involving Maritima. Another judge later temporarily revoked the arrest warrants for the Petrobras executives.
