Mexican authorities issued arrest warrants for two executives of Altos Hornos de Mexico (Ahmsa), the country's largest steel producer, for tax evasion. The bankrupt Ahmsa says the company and its subsidiaries have made all federal tax payments, and that it is separately negotiating with private creditors terms of its defaulted debt. Mexican police solicited the help of Interpol to find the executives, who were said to be outside the country.
