The U.S. Department of Commerce will investigate Brazilian shrimp exporters Netuno, Cida and NortePesca for dumping practices in the United States. The Brazilian Shrimp Association says the exporters may not be able to provide documentation required by the United States, since it buys more than 80% of its product from small suppliers, many being part of the informal economy. The U.S. Department of Commerce will make a decision regarding penalty taxes by June 8.
