In The Best of Latin America Anniversary issue ("Best of Latin America," February 2004), on the Best Hotel for Executives in Santiago, it says, "Foreign guests who pay their bill in dollars or using a credit card, do not pay taxes." In reality it should say that in Chile there is a tax break that exempts all tourists with a foreign nationality, not Chilean, from paying taxes for hotels and transportation. They are eligible upon presenting a foreign passport.
