Weekly UpdatesPPL CORPORATION, a U.S. energy company, sold its 8.7% stake in Chile's Compania General de Electricidad for US$123 million. PPL said the sale would flee it up to improve efficiency of its majority-owned electric distribution companies in Chile, including the Emel Group.
