Weekly UpdatesENDESA, a Chilean power producer, has begun preparing its US$540 million Ralco hydroelectric power plant for its expected launch by the end of 2004. Ralco will produce 9% of the electricity in Chile's Central Interconnected System power grid, which covers the bulk of the population.
