ICA FLUOR, a joint venture of Fluor Corporation, a U.S. engineering company, and Mexican construction company Empresas ICA Sociedad Controladora, was awarded an estimated US$570 million power-plant construction contract by Iberdrola Energia, a subsidiary of Spanish electric company Grupo Iberdrola. The plant will be built in Tamaulipas state in Mexico.
