Weekly UpdatesDAEWOO ELECTRONICS, a South Korean home appliance maker, will invest US$20 million in its central Mexican plant in the state of Queretaro. The company expects to hire 500 new workers and increase output to 700,000 refrigerators annually from 300,000, said a company spokesman.
