*Dow Jones & Co. Inc.: Shareholders of record on Feb. 1 are set
to receive 25 cents per share tomorrow.
*Gannett Co. Inc.: A quarterly dividend of 27 cents per share has
been declared by the board of directors; it is payable on April 1, to
shareholders of record as of March 4.
*Journal Communications Inc.: Those who held both Class A and Class
B shares on Feb. 22 will receive a 65-cents-per-share dividend on March
4.
*Knight Ridder: Payable today, shareholders of record on Feb. 16,
are to receive a dividend of 34 cents per share.
*Lee Enterprises Inc: If you hold either Common Stock or Class B
Common stock by the close of business tomorrow, you'll receive an
18-cent-per-share dividend on April 1.
*Media General Inc.: Adding an extra penny to the quarterly
dividend, this company's directors said that those who held shares
at the end of business today will receive 21 cents per share on March
15.
*The McClatchy Co.: Thirteen cents per share will be paid out on
April 1 to those who hold shares on March 16.
*The New York Times Co.: With 144 consecutive quarters of dividends
behind it, the company said that those who hold shares as of tomorrow
will receive 15 cents per share on March 18.
*Pulitzer Inc.: Those who held either Common Stock or Class B
Common Stock on Jan. 21 received 20 cents per share -- up one cent from
last quarter -- on Feb. 1.
*The E.W. Scripps Co.: Shareholders of record at the end of today
will receive a dime per share on March 10.
*Tribune Co.: The board of directors voted to increase the
company's quarterly dividend 50 percent, from 12 cents to 18 cents
per share, payable on March 10, to those who held shares on Feb. 24.
*The Washington Post Co.: In January, the board raised the annual
dividend 5.7 percent, to $7.40 per share. The quarterly dividend of
$1.85 per share, was payable on Feb. 4 to those who held shares on Jan.
31. Last Thursday, the directors said another $1.85 will be paid on May
13 to those who hold shares on April 29.
