Mexican and Chinese labor officials executed a Memorandum of Understanding that will promote cooperation in the area of job creation, social security, job site inspections and labor dialogue.
The agreement envisions joint activities involving labor law studies, information exchanges, organization of seminars and workshops, plus official visits of labor authorities and joint participation in selected conferences.

In addition, it is expected that employer and employee representatives will be invited to engage in many of these projects.
The Memorandum of Understanding will expire in five years, though it may be renewed upon mutual agreement of Mexico and China.
