September 15, 2005. Brian D. Lowenthal, The Benchmark Partners,
LLC, will present a workshop on "Linking HR Strategy to Business
Performance: The Five Dimensions of HR Effectiveness." Critical
issues to be examined include: the alignment of HR policies, practices,
and procedures to the business strategy, linking employee engagement to
the vision and mission of the company, and using line-manager feedback
to prioritize HR service. Each attendee can participate in a benchmark
assessment and receive an individualized report. The benchmark
assessment will examine the leading indicators of a strategically
aligned HR function. The results of the pre-workshop assessment will be
presented during the workshop and will be used for insight into the
creation of an HR function linked to business performance.
Program held from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Rivers Club, One
Oxford Centre, Pittsburgh, PA.
