Wireless Facilities, Inc. (WFI) (NASDAQ:WFII), San Diego, Calif., a
global leader in the design, deployment, and management of wireless

announced that its Government Services Division has been awarded
contracts, extensions, and contract vehicles, in the second quarter with
an estimated total value of approximately $9 million over five years, if
all option periods are exercised.
"Favorable industry dynamics and the continued adoption of
integrated network technology on the part of the DoD continue to drive
our Government business forward," commented Eric DeMarco,
WFI's president and CEO. "These contract vehicles and contract
extensions allow us to continue to integrate our technical expertise and
wireless experience into many of the DoD's strategic initiatives
and programs."
A majority of the contract and contract vehicles awarded in the
second quarter are with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Under the
most significant award, WFI will provide engineering and technical
services to NAVSEA, NAVAIR, and SPAWAR headquarters. Additional
significant awards included the Department of Defense Technical Support
Working Group (TSWG) with the continued development and deployment of
the Tactical Survey(TM) solution, a pre-incident planning tool for first
responders. The TSWG is the U.S. national agency that identifies,
prioritizes, and coordinates interagency and national research and
development requirements for combating terrorism.
