Investigate the justification, if any, of restricting First Amendment freedoms of speech and of the press in the following contemporary situations: national defense, campaign finance reform, criticism of public officials, supermarket tabloids, the Patriot Act, pornography, picturing violence to minors, book banning in public libraries, abortion clinics, publisher liability when a book is used to commit crime, hate crimes, highway beautification, land desecration, jury tampering, and requiring a license for a parade or other public demonstration. Located at Schaible Hall in the Bunnell Building on the UAF Campus.
