Alaska Travel Industry Association.(Shirley Laird elected for Educational Foundation for Woman in Accounting)(Brief Article)

Shirley Laird, director of finance and human resources for the Alaska Travel Industry Association, was elected president of the Educational Foundation for Woman in Accounting. The EFWA is a national organization that supports the advancement of women in the accounting profession through the funding of education and leadership training and by awarding scholarships to women who are pursuing accounting degrees at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Laird previously served as national president for the American Society of Woman Accountants.
