Tactix.(opened its regional sales office in Anchorage)(Brief Article)

Tactix has opened its regional sales office in Anchorage, a move the company hopes will allow it to provide information technology products and services to a broader set of customers in the greater Pacific Northwest.

Located at 2221 E. Northern Lights Blvd., the new Tactix sales office will be staffed by a team with experience in the region's IT sector. Brenda Kelly, branch operations manager, was an account executive with Mercury Data Group, and prior to that was branch operations manager at Acclaim Technology and a branch manager at Open Systems Inc., all in the Anchorage area.

Jim Henry, account manager, also was an account executive with Mercury Data Group and a territory account manager for Acclaim Technology. Prior to that, he held a number of IT management and operations positions at Alaska Communications Systems and the USKH architectural and engineering firm.

Luke Middle, systems engineer, has a background in network design, firewall configuration and system administration. He previously was with Mercury Data Group and the Alaska Satellite Facility.
