DAT/EM Systems International, a developer of digital mapping software, has added Julie Perilla to its software engineering team. Perilla moved to Anchorage from Philadelphia recently. While in Philadelphia, she worked as a software engineer for two CAD software companies. Most of her programming knowledge is in C and C++, but she has had some experience programming in Java and Visual Basic as well.
She graduated from Cedar Crest College with a Bachelor of Science in computer science and a minor in mathematics. She worked for two years at AceCad Software where she helped develop a new CAD Drawing Production System for the plotting of drawings from 3D models.
